Dynjandi "Thunderous" is the crown jewel of the Westfjords, a majestic fan-shaped waterfall 100 metres wide at the top narrowing to a single thread as it plunges into the valley. A series of smaller falls line the path to its base. Because the Westfjords are remote and rarely visited, this spectacular site is often completely deserted.
