Aldeyjarfoss ist ein dramatischer 20-Meter-Wasserfall im Fluss Skjálfandafljót, gerahmt von einer perfekten Krone symmetrischer Basaltsäulen. Anders als sein berühmter Nachbar Goðafoss empfängt dieser Wasserfall kaum Besucher, obwohl er wohl noch schöner ist.
