๐ Description
Barnafoss "Children's Falls" is a violent churning waterfall where the Hvรญtรก river squeezes through a narrow red-tinted lava gorge, just minutes from Hraunfossar. Legend says two children fell from a natural stone arch that once spanned the gorge; their grieving mother had the arch destroyed. The raw power here, set against the serene springs of nearby Hraunfossar, makes visiting both irresistible.
