Glymur
📍 West Iceland
📖 Description
Glymur was Iceland's tallest waterfall at 198 metres until 2011. Hidden at the end of a narrow fjord, reaching it requires crossing a river on a log bridge, scrambling through a cave, and hiking along exposed cliff ledges. The reward is a spectacular view into a deep gorge where the falls thunder below. One of Iceland's most rewarding hidden hikes.
