Rauðfeldsgjá

📍 West Iceland

📖 Description

Rauðfeldsgjá is a dramatic narrow gorge slicing into the basalt cliffs of the Snæfellsnes peninsula. Inside, a rope and chain assist the climb upward as a cold stream rushes past your feet. When sunlight reaches the red and amber rock walls deep inside, it creates a breathtaking glow that no photo can fully capture.
